The Community preservation committee now accepts applications

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) now accepts the proposals for projects that can be eligible for the financing of the Community Preservation Act (CPA) to be presented during the annual municipal assembly of May 2023. The proposals may be submitted in the One of the following three areas: 1) Acquisition, creation and preservation of open spaces and acquisition, creation, preservation, rehabilitation and restoration of land for recreational purposes; 2) Acquisition, preservation, rehabilitation and restoration of historical resources and; 3) The acquisition, creation, preservation and support of community housing.

Click on the following link to download the application form: Fy24 project form. Requests must be submitted to the CPC as soon as possible and at the latest the 12:30 p.m. Friday October 7, 2022.

Submissions can be sent by post or hand -rendered to the service of community planning and development, Flynn building, 278, Old Sudbury path or deposited inside the vestibule at the municipal clerk at the back of the back of the ‘Town Hall, 322, Chemin Concord. The vestibule is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is checked daily by the staff for submissions. Make sure you label the package you drop with your materials in “For the town planning office” so that the staff of the municipal clerk office know where the materials must go. PDF files for each submission folder are also required.

Public hearings concerning the proposals will take place on November 16, 2022 and December 7, 2022 (subject to any modifications).
